Feature & Follow #65

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

Feature & Follow is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. The purpose is to meet new people and gain more followers in the book blogging community. If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers. But you have to know, the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.

This weeks question:

Are there any book to movie adaptations where you think the movie is better than the book?

I hope no one condemns me too much for this, but...

I actually enjoyed the Harry Potter movies a little more than I enjoyed the books.

  1. Hopping through. Which was your fav HP movie? Even though it widely different from the book, I really like Prisoner of Azkaban.

  2. I must admit I was rather disappointed with the Harry Potter movies, despite my attempts to not judge them against the books. I felt there was a lot lacking in the movies that had been included in the books.

Thank you for coming to visit my blog and thank you for the follow! Happy #FF!

  3. I almost love the film version of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire more than the book. This is mainly because I thought there was a lot of filler inbetween tasks which the film cut out

  4. My problem with the Harry Potter movies is they always seemed to have left out my favorite parts of the books in the movies. I'd be on pins and needles and then realize it wasn't going to happen. Old Bloglovin' follower. My FF.

  5. The movies were good, but I did have a few issues along the way of them. Mostly leaving out characters or small miniscule events. But still love the movies too!

  7. I think overall I enjoyed the books more than the films, but I DID really adore the films, and there were lots of times when I would think, 'that's different the book but I REALLY liked how they handled that.' So yeah, I feel ya. Have a great weekend, Marilyn! :D

  9. Having not read the books, I'm really curious to see which I like better once I've done so. I've seen most of the movies but not all of them. I need to read those, especially now with those new covers that came out- think those look great!

  13. I have to admit, although I love all the films, I enjoyed the books so much more! I think they just contained so much more and the films left me disappointed with some of the things they left out. My F&FF.
