Activity! Hopefully warm weather for most of us is here soon…so tell us about your favorite outdoor reading spot. Or take a picture.

As I live in Australia, we are currently heading into cooler weather so I'm going to give two responses for this question.

When the weather is warm like it has been for the past few weeks (30 degrees everyday - that's approx. 90 fahrenheit), I like to sit beside the pool to read.

When the weather is cool, particular in the height of winter which we are now heading towards, I like to curl up beside an open fire when relaxing with one of my many books.

This weeks Swoon comes from Blood Promise - Book 4 from the Vampire Academy series.


First - The Blurb:

Rose Hathaway's life will never be the same.

Second - My Thoughts:

OH!  MY! GOSH!

After the way Shadow Kiss ended, I was sure that the romance between Rose and Dimitir was over.

But... after completing Blood Promise... I'm now thinking... mmm... maybe not.

Maybe, just maybe, there's still a chance for Dimitri to be restored to his former self, and for Rose to be reunited with the man who holds her heart.

Moving on to Spirit Bound



Third - My Swoon:

Last time, he'd broken the kiss before too much could happen. Not this time. And as we continued kissing now, that rational voice in me grew smaller and smaller. The part of me that would always love Dimitri took over, exulting in the way his body felt against mine, the way he wound my hair around one of his hands, letting the fingers get tangled up. His other hand slid up the back of my shirt, cold against my warm skin. I pushed myself closer to him and felt the pressure of the kiss increase as his own desire picked up.

My tease for this week comes from Book 3 in the Vampire Academy series - Shadow Kiss


First - The Blurb:

It's springtime at St. Vladimir's Academy, and Rose Hathaway is this close to graduation. Since making her first Strigoi kills, Rose hasn't been feeling quite right. She's having dark thoughts, behaving erratically, and worst of all... might be seeing ghosts.

Second - My Thoughts:

I have only three words to say after completing this book -

NOOOOO!!!!! 

NOT DIMITRI!!!!!

 

Yeah! I think anyone who has read this series will understand my simple comment.

Third  - My Tease:

He laid me back on the bed. His hands wrapped around my waist, and then one of them slid down the back of my thigh and pulled it up so that it nearly wrapped around him.

At the same time, we both pulled back briefly, still oh so close. Everything in the world rested on that moment.

"We can't... " he told me.

"I know," I agreed.



Sorry, but this is a tease so I had to leave it there.

What happens next????

Mmm.... my lips are sealed.
