What hyped up book do you think was not worth all the talk?

This is not an easy question for me to answer because I pretty much have enjoyed all the books I have read. However, if I had to choose one, I would say Passion by Lauren Kate. Even though I liked the story, it wasn't as appealing as the first two books in the series.

This week, my swoon comes from my current read - Ghost Hunter by Lori Brighton. I'm sure you'll not only appreciate my selected passage, but also the eye candy on the cover.

"What answers, Ashley?" His accent was like warm honey.

She stared at his lips and couldn't seem to think of anything other than how his mouth tasted. "I...I..."

He leaned closer, resting his weight on his arms. She could feel every muscle, every hard bulge. His weight should have been overwhelming. His chest crushed her breasts, and his thick, muscled thighs pressed to her legs. Dear God, his mouth rested against the side of her face, the scruff on his cheeks erotically rubbing her sensitive skin. "What do ye wonder? How I taste?"

It seems like only yesterday when I posted my last Teaser.

"Damn it, Lily. Look at me!"

 

When his fingers touched her cheek, Lily couldn't resist. She looked up into his beautiful blue eyes. They stared at each other for a minute while Lily memorized every inch of his face. She lifted a hand and carefully brushed the stray hair out of his eyes so she could see them clearly. She wanted to melt into him, right then and there.

 

Jake slid closer. He took a deep breath and his eyes closed, as if he were enjoying her scent; just that little action sent desire racing through Lily. He placed his hand against her cheek, and she rested her face against it, closing her eyes.

 

Then his lips were upon hers.
