Swoon Thursday #97 ~ Lila and Ethan: Forever and Always by Jessica Soresen

The fabulous girls over at YA Bound created this super HOT meme.

Here's how it works. From the book you're currently reading, or one you just finished, tell us what made you SWOONWhat got your heart pounding, your skin tingling, and your stomach fluttering.

Shout it out on Twitter with the hashtag#YABound, post it here in the comments, or grab the adorable button above and share it on your blog!

My Swoon for this week comes from:

Lila and Ethan: Forever and Always
(The Secret #4.5)

Jessica Sorensen

Lila Summers just wants to know one thing for certain: that Ethan Gregory will be with her always. Once her friend, he's become so much more, melting the pain of her past away with each kiss. Now Lila is on a road trip with Ethan, in the wilderness under the stars, and she can't imagine her life without him. But when she talks about the future, something in Ethan changes . . .

Ethan has no doubts about his feelings for Lila. His life with her gets better every day-and that's the scary part. How can he walk into a future where he has everything to lose? With Lila, his whole heart is on the line for the very first time. But if Ethan can't give her the promise she needs, his greatest fear might come true: he'll lose Lila for good.

Second - The Swoon(s):

Swoon 1
He's so sexy, even when he hasn't showered in days. The unshaven face, torn jeans, and wrinkled black T-shirt work so well on him. Plus his tattoos... God he's so gorgeous, all grungy and manly. I could practically have an orgasm just looking at him.

Swoon 2
(A page form Ethan's journal)
Yeah, I love the quiet, but it could never compare to all the moments we've shared together. Fireworks. Arguments. Ponds. Kisses. Sex... God the sex is great. Every conversation with her, good and bad. Every moment, light and dark. I want to relive it over and over again. I want so many more moments and conversations.
I want this to be permanent. I want Lila and I to be permenant.
Forever and always.

After finishing The Temptation of Lila and Ethan, I felt like their story wasn't quite complete. Now having read Lila and Ethan: Forever and Always, I no longer feel that way. A great continuation!

Teaser Tuesday #97 ~ The Temptation of Lila and Ethan by Jessica Sorensen

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (Make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away! You don't want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Tease for this week comes from:

The Temptation of Lila and Ethan

Jessica Sorensen

First - The Blurb:

Ella's best friend Lila has always been a good girl who likes pretty clothes and preppy boys. But ever since the first day she met Micha's best friend Ethan, she hasn't been able to stop thinking about him.

Girls have always flocked to Ethan -- but never princesses like Lila. And until Lila came into his life he never wanted them to. From the outside the two couldn't seem more different, but somehow they have a connection deeper and more intense than anyone could have imagined.

Can two people from such dramatically different worlds really have a love that lasts?

Second - The Tease:

"I forgot something," he whispers in my ear, turning me toward him. His eyes are dark, his hair hanging in his face as his gaze drinks me in slowly, deliberately. I forget to breathe as he leans down and kisses me. And I mean kisses me, the kind of kiss that rips my breath right out of my lungs, makes me forget where I am, who I am. As our tongues entwine, it makes every single struggle I've been through worth it because they've gotten me right here to this moment - they've gotten me to him.

This is not Lila and Ethan's first kiss but it was a sweet moment between them which I felt I had to share.

There's a lot of struggle in this story as both Lila and Ethan try to deal with situations from their past lives. Eventually though, they manage to find away through, away which leads them to each other.

TBR Tuesday #52 ~ Awakened (Vampire Awakenings #1) by Brenda K. Davies

My good friend Sharrice from Reese's Reviews: My Addiction to Fiction came up with the idea of 'TBR Tuesday'

If you want to join in the fun, then just do the following:
From your book shelf or your e-reader, pick a book that you own that is still on your TBR list. Post it however you want to, then leave a link below so others can see what's waiting to be read.

This week for me its:

(Vampire Awakenings #1)

Brenda K. Davies

Traumatized by her past, and struggling to move on from it, Sera has spent the past three years of college hiding herself from the world and content to stay that way. A chance encounter with Liam shatters her sheltered world, leaving her stunned and shaken by the strange feelings and emotions he arises in her, feelings she never thought she would experience and that frighten her in their intensity.

Harboring a dark and deadly secret of his own, Liam knows that he should stay away from Sera; that he will only bring her more hurt, but he is irresistibly drawn to her and unable to deny himself the pleasure that only she can bring to him. But when their pasts collide with their present, and Liam’s true nature is revealed, will their love for each other be enough, or will they be torn apart forever?

Leave a comment and tell me what's waiting on your TBR pile.
