My Swoon for this week comes from:

Up to Me
(The Bad Boys #2)

by
M. Leighton

First - The Blurb:

For Olivia, romantic bliss has never felt so right as it does with Cash. Unpredictable, except when it comes to satisfying her desires, Cash’s bad boy reputation is well-earned, but he’s turning his life around with the one woman who accepts him for who he is.

Until strangers from the past turn Olivia and Cash’s world upside down. What they want is something only Cash can give them. And if he doesn’t deliver, then they’re taking the one thing that Cash values the most.

Olivia always knew that in falling for Cash she was likely to get burned. But this new threat is beyond anything she imagined. Now she has to trust Cash with her life—and for Olivia that’s much easier than letting go, and trusting him with her heart.

Second - The Swoon(s):

Swoon 1
His voice is sincere. His expression is urgent. I close my eyes against his face, his handsome face, the face that haunts both my waking and my sleeping world. I open them again when I feel warm hands cup my cheeks. cash is a breath away, his eyes oceans of midnight, drawing me out into the deep.

Swoon 2
He watches me for a few seconds before his lips curve into a satisfied smile. It gets wider as he leans down to me. I think he might laugh, but he sobers as he reaches out to cup my face in his hands.

And then he kisses me. Not just a small kiss, either. A good kiss. A really good kiss. A kiss that other people should not be witnessing, especially when I'm wearing a sheet and nothing else.

If you've read this book then you might remember this scene. If not then I won't spoil if for you by saying any more.
Cash and Olivia - yeah - quite a fun couple.

Teaser Tuesday #98 ~ Down To You by M. Leighton

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (Make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away! You don't want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Tease for this week comes from:

Down to You
(The Bad Boys #1)

by
M. Leighton

First - The Blurb:

The scorching tale of one girl, two brothers and a love triangle…that’s not. Olivia Townsend is nothing special. She’s just a girl working her way through college so she can return home to help her father run his business. She’s determined not to be the second woman in his life to abandon him, even if it means putting her own life on hold. To Olivia, it’s clear what she must do. Plain and simple. Black and white. But clear becomes complicated when she meets Cash and Nash Davenport. They’re brothers. Twins.

Cash is everything she’s always wanted in a guy. He’s a dangerous, sexy bad boy who wants her in his bed at any cost. He turns her insides to mush and, with just one kiss, makes her forget why he’s no good for her. Nash is everything she’s ever needed in a guy. He’s successful, responsible and intensely passionate. But he’s taken. Very taken, by none other than Marissa, Liv’s rich, beautiful cousin. That doesn’t stop Olivia from melting every time he looks at her, though. With just one touch, he makes her forget why they can never be together.

Black and white turns to shades of gray when Olivia discovers the boys are hiding something, something that should make her run as far and as fast as she can. But it’s too late to run. Olivia’s already involved. And in love. With both of them. Both brothers make her heart tremble. Both brothers set her body on fire. She wants them both. And they want her. How will she ever choose between them?

Second - The Tease:

Blood is roaring in my ears. "But you don't get social with your employees," I remind him quietly.

"I'd make an exception for you." His face is getting close and closer. Slowly. A centimeter at a time.

"But it's your rule."

"I'll break it for you," he whispers.

"No, don't do that," I say breathlessly.

"Fine, then you're fired," he says just as his lips meet mine.

Twins? Can't say I've read a book with twins in it before. Certainly made for an interesting read.

TBR Tuesday #53 ~ Every Little Piece (Second Chances #1) by Kate Ashton

My good friend Sharrice from Reese's Reviews: My Addiction to Fiction came up with the idea of 'TBR Tuesday'

If you want to join in the fun, then just do the following:
From your book shelf or your e-reader, pick a book that you own that is still on your TBR list. Post it however you want to, then leave a link below so others can see what's waiting to be read.

This week for me its:

Every Little Piece
(Second Chances #1)

by
Kate Ashton

**This is a YA/New Adult crossover. A story of love, hope and healing.**

Needing the truth…

I wanted to spend the night before graduation making out with Seth, but one of my best friends had the whole night planned. Lucky for me, we ran into him and his friends playing pool where we made some silly bet over a game, and the losers had to run through town in nothing but their underwear. A year later, I wish more than ever we’d just made out at Raker’s Bluff instead, because maybe the night would’ve turned out differently. Now Seth’s back, the guy who broke my heart, the guy I’m still in love with…I just hope he doesn’t break me all over again.

Desperate for redemption…

No one wants to fess up to having a screwed-up family. When my parents dropped the big divorce bomb on me, I decided to keep it a secret. Just the thought of the pity-stares and pats-on-the-back made me feel sick. I’d tell Haley and my friends another time. Except, I never got the chance. Stuff happened. Stuff that totally sucked and changed our lives forever. Instead of telling my truth, I took the coward’s way out, and I’ve regretted it ever since. But I’m back, determined to tell Haley everything, down to the last gritty detail, if she’ll give me the chance…even if it means losing her forever.

SO NOW IT'S YOUR TURN!
Leave a comment and tell me what's waiting on your TBR pile.
