This week I would like you to meet:

Beau Vincent

Beau is your ultimate bad boy - trouble with a capital T.
He's  gorgeous, oozes sex appeal and knows exactly how to charm his way into a girls heart. But like with most bad boys, there's also a sensitive and caring side.

Beau's gaze made my cheeks flush. A pleased grin touched his lips and I suddenly wanted to know how those lips would feel pressed against mine. I couldn't take my eyes off them…

"You're gonna have to stop doing that Ash," Beau whispered huskily and closed the space between us. His body was suddenly pressed against mine… "Ash, I'm trying real hard to be good... Please remember I've got my limits and you studying my mouth like you want a taste is pushing me dangerously close to the edge of those limits."

Beau Vincent is rude, bad, and dangerous to know. So why can't good girl Ashton Gray keep away from him? She already has the perfect boyfriend - her town's local Prince Charming, Sawyer Vincent. But Sawyer is away for the summer, and in the meantime Ashton is bored, and the heat between her and Beau is undeniable - as well as irresistible. Ashton is about to unleash her bad girl - but what will she do when Sawyer comes home? And how will Sawyer react when he returns to find his girlfriend in the arms of his best friend - and cousin?

If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers. But you have to know, the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. This weeks question:

What book are you embarrassed to admit you LOVED?
(try to think beyond Twilight).

After reading this question, I pondered it for a several days before finally deciding that there is not a book I've read and loved which causes me to feel embarrassed.

And yes, I've read Twilight... and I loved it... and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

My Swoon for this week comes from:

Impossibly Love

by
Shane Morgan

First - The Blurb:

All 19 year old Moya Douglas wants to do is study hard, maintain her scholarship, and make her mother proud while attending college. She doesn't have time for a boyfriend or going on dates arranged by her best friend. Moya doesn't believe in love. And she has no intention of ever finding it.

Branden McCarthy is determined to change her views.
A selfless romantic who's had his heart broken in the past, Branden is fascinated with Moya's personality and hopes to develop something real with her—a connection so strong it'll open her heart. But just when things start to work between the two, Branden’s secret threatens to get in the way.

Will Moya finally do the impossible and give love a chance with Branden, or will fear keep them apart?

New Adult novel about finding love and oneself

Second - The Swoon:

I blew hard, eager to drown myself in the sweetness of her lips. Dismissing her protest - and the little voice at the back of my head telling me not to - I shoved my mouth to hers and kissed her hungrily.

Moya lifted her hands to my chest and pushed tentatively, and just as fast they began to lower. I knew she couldn't resist the deep passion evoking between us. Finally, she yielded and I wrapped my arms even tighter around her as Moya parted her lips and allowed me to enter.

We groaned as our tongues collided, touching each other wildly as if the kiss was not only our first but our last.

Third - My Thoughts:

Before I reveal my thoughts, I would just like to thank Shane for giving me the opportunity to read and review her novel ~ Impossibly Love. It is a romantic read which tugs on your heart strings.

So where to begin? Let me start by introducing the two main characters, Moya Douglas and Branden McCarthy. Moya is beautiful, intelligent, strong minded and fiercely independent. A second year college student, she spends much of her time studying and has no desire to enter a relationship with a member from the opposite sex (mainly, because she is afraid of getting hurt).

Branden, with his big blue eyes, is cute, kind, caring and not afraid to show his feelings. Right from the start, it is apparent he likes Moya and would like to be more than just friends. Although Moya tries really hard to evade Branden’s advances, eventually, his persuasive nature is too much and she agrees to a date. As their love begins to blossom, things are suddenly brought to a screeching halt as a secret Branden has been keeping from Moya rises to the surface.

Impossibly Love is told alternately from both Moya and Branden’s POV, thereby, allowing the reader to get into both their heads. It’s a NA Contemporary Romance without a whole lot of swearing or sex (which was kind of refreshing). It is a sweet romance filled with emotional ups and down.

Shane’s writing style is clear and easy to read making it possible to connect with the characters. I really enjoyed Impossibly Love and am looking forward to Book #2.

My Rating: 5 out of 5

Expected Release Date: October 29th, 2013

My Tease for this week comes from:

My Favorite Mistake

by
Chelsea M. Cameron

First - The Blurb:

Taylor Caldwell can't decide if she wants to kiss her new college roommate, or punch him.

On the one hand, Hunter Zaccadelli is a handsome blueeyed bundle of charm. On the other, he's a tattooed, guitarplaying bad boy. Maybe that's why Taylor's afraid of falling in love with him...or anyone else. She doesn't want to get burned, so she needs him gone before it's too late.

Hunter himself has been burned before, but Taylor's refusal to let him get away with anything makes her irresistible. Determined not to be kicked out of her life without a fight, Hunter proposes a bet: if she can convince him she loves or hates him, he'll leave the apartment for good.

But when the man behind Taylor's fear of giving up her heart resurfaces, she has to decide: trust Hunter with her greatest secret, or do everything in her power to win that bet and drive him away forever.

Second - The Tease:

(Taylor) "You said you didn't like me."

(Hunter) "I don't like you. I don't like how your hair smells, and how I can't stop thinking about waking up and seeing your face. I hate how my bed felt empty when you left. I don't like how good you were with my family, especially Harper, and how I wanted to see you with them again, but not just as a guest. As a member. You're right. I don't like you at all."

(Taylor) "When did you change your mind?"

And here's a second I couldn't resist:

"Taylor, look at me. Please."

Damn. If only he didn't say please.

"I can't promise not to make you mad. I can't promise that I won't hurt you. All I can promise is that I want you in my life, and I'll do anything to keep you there."

Third - My Thoughts:

Hunter is confident, arrogant and a little damaged due to a past he'd rather not think about.
Taylor is stubborn, direct and carries some baggage of her own. Neither of them wants to reveal their secret, but like all secrets, they eventually rise to the surface.

There's a lot of bickering and sexual tension between these two as they grapple with their feelings for each other. It's a nice love story which had me glued to the pages and desperate to learn how it all turns out.

This is the first book by Chelsea which I have read. I really like her writing style so I'll be searching out others in her collection.

My rating: 5 out of 5

From the TBR Pile # 18 ~ Between the Lines by Tammara Webber

My good friend Sharrice from Reese's Reviews: My Addiction to Fiction came up with the idea of 'From The TBR Pile'.

If you want to join in the fun, then just do the following:
From your book shelf or your e-reader, pick a book that you own that is still on your TBR list. Post it however you want to, then leave a link below so others can see what's waiting to be read.

This week for me its:

Between the Lines

by
Tammara Webber

Reid Alexander is used to getting what he wants – and what he wants next is his newest costar, Emma Pierce. The universe is lining up nicely to grant his wish, until he’s confronted with two unexpected obstacles on location: a bitter ex-girlfriend and a rival for Emma’s affections.

Emma Pierce just got her big break after years of filming commercials and made-for-TV movies. Winning the lead role in a wide-release film – opposite the very hot Reid Alexander – should be a dream come true. But Emma’s heart is hiding a secret fantasy: she wants to be a normal girl.

I've been looking forward to reading this one for a while. Finally, my local library got it in.

SO NOW IT'S YOUR TURN!
On your blog (and be sure to leave a link) tell me what's waiting on your TBR pile.

This week I would like you to meet:

Hunter Zaccadelli

Hunter is gorgeous, sexy and (by his own admission) a bit of an ass. He carries a few tattoos  - all for good luck - and he plays the guitar (classical, not electric). He also has a sensitive side and can be extremely caring and even a little romantic.

"When did you change your mind?"

"My mind never changed. I've wanted you since the moment you opened the door and had that stunned look on your face. It just took me a while to admit it. Why deny it now? It is what it is and it's not going to change."

"Oh."

"This doesn't mean I'm going to be nice. I'm still going to be an ass. I'll just be an ass who apologizes and brings you flowers to say he's been a dick."
