My Swoon for this week comes from:

A Beautiful Wedding
(Beautiful #2.5)
by
Jamie McGuire

First - The Blurb:

You know that Abby Abernathy unexpectedly became Mrs. Maddox. But what do you really know?

Why did Abby pop the question?
What secrets were shared before the ceremony?
Where did they spend their wedding night?
Who else knew about it . . . and didn’t tell?

Everything about Abby and Travis’s elopement was top-secret . . . until now. Fans of Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster will get all of their questions answered in this whirlwind tale of the wedding day (and night!)—and as with all good stories, this one will definitely have been worth the wait.

Second - The Swoon(s):

 A Swoon from Abby's POV

"I just want you to know, before I make my promises, that I'm super stubborn. You already know I'm hard to live with, and you've made it clear on dozens of occasions that I drive you crazy. And I'm sure I've driven anyone who's watched these last few months crazy with my indecision and uncertainty. But I want you to know that whatever love is, this has got to be it. We were best friends first, and we tried not to fall in love, and we did anyway. If you're not with me, it's not where I want to be. I'm in this. I'm with you."

A Swoon from Travis's POV

“I know you know I love you. What you may not know is that there is nothing I want more than to be your husband. But if you’re not ready, I’ll wait for you, Pigeon. I’m not going anywhere. I mean, yeah. I want this, but only if you do. I just . . . I need you to know that you can open this door and we can walk down the aisle, or we can get a taxi and go home. Either way, I love you.”

There are so many sweet and swoon worthy moments in this short Novella that it was difficult to choose.

A Beautiful Wedding is a nice accompaniment to the Beautiful series. Definitely one worth the few short hours it takes to read it.

My Rating: 5 out of 5

Waiting on Wednesday #9 ~ Kiro's Emily (Rosemary Beach #10) by Abbi Glines

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill of Breaking the Spine which spotlights highly anticipated upcoming releases.

This week I’m waiting on:

Kiro's Emily
(Rosemary Beach #10)
by
Abbi Glines

Expected publication: December 25th, 2014 by Atria Unbound

The year is 1992, and no one on the rock music scene is hotter than Kiro Manning, the lead singer of Slacker Demon. With a multi-platinum record, total ownership of the Billboard charts, sold-out concerts, and sinful amounts of money, Kiro can have anything—and anyone—he wants.

So when a dark-haired, conservative beauty rebuffs him at a concert after-party, his first thought is, “Who the hell does she think she is?” His second thought: “How do I make her mine?” Kiro has always loved a good challenge, but not every girl wants to get involved with a rock god. Especially this girl.

He let her go that night, but he never forgot her. And when they met again, he vowed not to give up again so easily.

As the world worshipped Kiro, he came to worship the girl, who became everything he never knew he needed. The only girl he would ever love. His Emily.

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Abbi Glines comes a heart-wrenching e-novella in the Rosemary Beach series about the star-crossed romance between Kiro and Emily, first introduced in Take a Chance. This is Abbi’s holiday gift to the devoted fans of the series.

Yep! You read that right. This one is due out on Christmas day.

My Tease for this week comes from:

The Probability of Violet & Luke
(The Coincidence #4)
by
Jessica Sorensen

First - The Blurb:

Luke Price and Violet Hayes haven’t seen each other in a couple of months, not since they discovered Luke’s mother’s connection to Violet’s parent’s murders. But when Luke gets into some gambling trouble with the wrong people, destiny decides to throw the two of them together and they head out to Vegas to try and settle Luke’s debt.

As Violet spends time with Luke, she becomes torn on whether she should be with him. She definitely can’t deny that her life is better when she’s with Luke and she starts to wonder if going back to Preston was a mistake.

Things seem to be going well as Violet opens up more to Luke, but then she gets a call from the detective, not only to give an update on Mira Price and the case, but to give information about some threatening texts she’s been getting. The information is not only shocking, but makes Violet question what kind of people her parents really where and whether she’ll be able to trust anyone ever again.

Second - The Teaser:

A Tease from Violet's POV

Suppressed emotions, alcohol and a hunger I've never felt before possess me and suddenly I'm crashing my lips against his. He sucks in a gentle breath, slanting back slightly, as if to pull away, but then in a snap of a finger, he's grabbing me by the hips and yanking me against him as he seals his mouth to mine. The heat of him... the taste of him... it's so potent... so wrong... so right... so confusing.

Violet desperately wants to be be with Luke, but she is afraid to let down the defenses she has so carefully built around herself.

A Tease from Luke's POV

I get a revelation at that moment, one that I didn't see coming and I'm not sure if I'm ready to accept it. It crashes into me like a truck, slams the breath out of me, and makes my heart ache in a very unfamiliar way.
I care about Violet more than I care about myself.
Maybe even… Love her?

F***, am I in love? No, there’s no way. I don’t even know what love is.

Luke has never cared about anyone but himself. Suddenly discovering that he has deep and meaningful feelings for Violet, he is caught totally off guard.

Violet and Luke's story started in The Destiny of Violet and Luke (mini review here) and is due for it's completion in The Certainty of Violet and Luke.

TBR Tuesday #71 ~ Lost and Found (Lost and Found #1) by Nicole Williams

My good friend Sharrice from Reese's Reviews: My Addiction to Fiction came up with the idea of 'TBR Tuesday'

If you want to join in the fun, then just do the following:
From your book shelf or your e-reader, pick a book that you own that is still on your TBR list. Post it however you want to, then leave a link below so others can see what's waiting to be read.

This week for me its:

Lost and Found
(Lost and Found #1)
by
Nicole Williams

There’s complicated. And there’s Rowen Sterling.

After numbing pain for the past five years with boys, alcohol, and all-around apathy, she finds herself on a Greyhound bus to nowhere Montana the summer after she graduates high school. Her mom agreed to front the bill to Rowen’s dream art school only if Rowen proves she can work hard and stay out of trouble at Willow Springs Ranch. Cooking breakfast at the crack of dawn for a couple dozen ranch hands and mucking out horse stalls are the last things in the world Rowen wants to spend her summer doing.

Until Jesse Walker saunters into her life wearing a pair of painted-on jeans, a cowboy hat, and a grin that makes something in her chest she’d thought was frozen go boom-boom. Jesse’s like no one else, and certainly nothing like her. He’s the bright and shiny to her dark and jaded.

Rowen knows there’s no happily-ever-after for the golden boy and the rebel girl—happily-right-now is a stretch—so she tries to forget and ignore the boy who makes her feel things she’s not sure she’s ready to feel. But the more she pushes him away, the closer he seems to get. The more she convinces herself she doesn’t care, the harder she falls.

When her dark secrets refuse to stay locked behind the walls she’s kept up for years, Rowen realizes it’s not just everyone else she needs to be honest with. It’s herself.

SO NOW IT'S YOUR TURN!

Leave a comment and tell me what's waiting on your TBR pile.
