Feature & Follow #5

Feature & Follow is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. The purpose is to meet new people and gain more followers in the book blogging community. If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers. But you have to know, the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.

Here’s this week’s question:

What hyped up book do you think was not worth all the talk?

This is not an easy question for me to answer because I pretty much have enjoyed all the books I have read. However, if I had to choose one, I would say Passion by Lauren Kate. Even though I liked the story, it wasn't as appealing as the first two books in the series.

  4. The entire series didn't make it onto my radar. I read too many negative reviews and I decided it wasn't a series I wanted to start.

    Here's my Follow Friday

    Have a GREAT weekend!

  5. I haven't heard of the series but it's a bad feeling when a series is good but one of the books ruins it! Thanks for sharing :) I'm a new follower!

  6. I didn't like Fallen and Torment but Passion was sort of likable compared to the other first two books. I haven't read Rapture yet. I'm not even excited of reading it, haha
    New follower! :)

  8. I've only read the first book in this series, Fallen. It was a few years ago, but I haven't read anything else. I liked the first book, but I didn't love it.

A girl at the library where I love keeps trying to read Rapture, but she keeps telling me that she lost interest.

I love the covers of these books, though! So pretty.

  9. I've never read this series, but I'd love to hear why exactly you didn't think this particular book was worth the hype... do you have a link to a review?

    1. I haven't written a review on Passion. I think the reason I didnt enjoy it as much as the first two is b/c it kept jumping from one time to another and towards the end I found this frustrating.
