Here’s this week’s question:
What is your preferred reading format? Hardcover, eBooks, paperback etc?
I actually don't have a particular preferrence. Sometimes I prefer reading a paperback. Sometimes I prefer using my eReader. It really depends on my environment as to which I will choose.
If I'm out in the sun, (pool, beach, etc..) or in a well lit room, I would probably prefer paperback.
But if I'm in bed or where the light is not so good, then I usually read an eBook on my android phone which is backlit.

I love my Nook! It goes with me everywhere and almost everything I read is on it...but I would never turn down any other form of book...I have enough room to love them all :D Have a great weekend Marilyn!

It depends for me as well. Love reading with my nook at night in bed because of the light!

It all depends on the location as well for me. You'll usually find me reading paperback or hardcover, but when I'm on vacation it's usually eBook. Makes traveling way more easier for me!

Good reasons! I love being able to read in the dark on my eReader but I don't have one that works in the sunlight so real books work a lot better!

Hopping through. I love having backlit ereader screens for when it's dark, but it can be hard on the eyes. Books are a little easier.
ReplyDeleteMy Hop
So true it totally depends on the environment. Don't want the e-reader too close to the water. 8) Happy Friday!!
ReplyDeleteThat is exactly what I do too :)

Happy Friday! I prefer reading paperbacks but I read eBooks sometimes. eBooks are always faster to finish and you can easily highlight the passages you like.

Great answer! I like any format. My e-reader has a front light, which is very useful at night :)

New bloglovin follower! Nice to meet ya. After getting my Kindle, I'm totally a Kindle fangirl. Mine is front lit so it is easy on my eyes and I can adjust the light to read both in the glaring sun on the beach and in bed (two of my favorite places to read also).
ReplyDeleteHere's my FF post for this week-hope you'll follow back.
I'm the same way: I read both depending on the situation. :D Thanks for stopping by my blog. Happy Friday! :D
ReplyDeleteI agree, print is way easier to read in the sun, but eReaders have been winning for me due to the multitude of books I can carry...

I'm addicted to my Kindle now, but I was very reluctant to convert from paper. New follower via Bloglovin.

I prefer hardcovers because I get so annoyed when a paperback comes in the mail dented. Even the smallest dent bothers me so much and I love how hardcovers are harder to damage. Old follower :)
ReplyDelete-Scott Reads It!
I love ebooks. I use the Nook app on my iPad most of the time and if I take the kids to the pool or go to the beach, I take my original Nook with me. I have to admit that I love scrolling through all of the books I have read. I'm very proud of my library! lol
ReplyDeleteI followed. :)
