The fabulous girls over at YA Bound created this super HOT meme.

Here's how it works. From the book you're currently reading, or one you just finished, tell us what made you SWOON. What got your heart pounding, your skin tingling, and your stomach fluttering.

My Swoon for this week comes from

Clockwork Princess

Book 3 of The Infernal Devices
by
Cassandra Clare

First - The Blurb:

Danger and betrayal, secrets and enchantment in the breathtaking conclusion to the Infernal Devices trilogy.
Tessa Gray should be happy - aren't all brides happy?
Yet as she prepares for her wedding, a net of shadows begins to tighten around the Shadowhunters of the London Institute.
A new demon appears, one linked by blood and secrecy to Mortmain, the man who plans to use his army of pitiless automatons, the Infernal Devices, to destroy the Shadowhunters. Mortmain needs only one last item to complete his plan. He needs Tessa. And Jem and Will, the boys who lay equal claim to Tessa's heart, will do anything to save her.

Second - My Thoughts:

As I do not wish to spoil this for anyone, I'm going to keep my thoughts on this one brief.

Clockwork Princess - the last book in The Infernal Devices Trilogy - is an amazing story of heartache, sacrifice and ever enduring love. Right from book 1, I was caught in the intrigue surrounding the three main characters - Tessa, Will and Jem. I'm not going to say whose team I'm on (Will or Jem's) because even now when the last page has been turned, I am still undecided.

What I will say, is that I absolutely loved the way Cassandra Clare ended things and if you don't mind your emotions being twisted in every direction, then this series is a must.

My Rating 5 out of 5

Third - My Swoon:

He slid down over her, slowly, elbows resting on either side of her shoulders. Their eyes met, held; they were touching all along their bodies, but neither of them spoke. Her throat ached: adoration, heartache, in equal measures. "Kiss me," she said.

He lowered himself slowly, slowly, until their lips just brushed. She arched upward, wanting to meet his mouth with hers, but he drew back, nuzzling at her cheek, now his lips pressing the corner of her mouth---and then along her jaw and down her throat, sending little shocks of astonished pleasure through her body. She had always thought of her arms, her hands, her neck, her face, as separate---not that her skin was all the same delicate envelope, and that a kiss placed on her throat might be felt all the way down to the bottom of her feet.

Those of you who have read the book, will no doubt, remember this scene. Those of you haven't, well this is just a little taste to capture your interest.
