Second - My Swoon:

Mason needed no more convincing. His lips came crushing down on mine, robbing me of breath and causing my mouth to open as I gasped for air. Seizing the opportunity, he wasted no time slipping in, and I felt myself explode under the sensation of his tongue dancing with mine. If there was one thing he did well, it was kissing and this was nothing short of magnificent.

Third - My Thoughts:

The Mystic Wolves is a collection of the first three novellas in the series (Without Mercy, Cherished and Blood Oath). It was an interesting read in that rather than introducing the two main characters to each other and then watching the romance build between them, they are already in a relationship.

Mason is the alpha male. He is everything you would imagine him to be. Tall, dark, hot and very much in control. Darcy, from whose POV the story is told, is high spirited, courageous and loving. Together, they make an awesome couple. Although the story focuses a lot on the intense relationship they share, it also delves into a mystery - someone is going after the females in Mason's life. The question is... who and why?

The story is well written, easy to follow, and the characters are very likable. If you're looking for a novel featuring werewolves, then The Mystic Wolves is worth a try.

Second - The Tease:

Taking Jude Ryder by surprise was rare, and I was going to enjoy it. Sweeping gentle kisses over his entire mouth, I savored the moment. Our other kisses were so passionate and unyielding I felt like I was being consumed by them, but this one I held on to. I enjoyed the scent of salt on his skin. The way the fullness of his bottom lip felt in my mouth. The way his tongue tasted against mine.

Third - My Thoughts.

Crush is the final installment of the Crash series by Nicole Williams.

Projected 2 years into the future, the story continues with Jude about to embark on a career of a lifetime (Quaterback for the San Diego Chargers) while Luce is determined to complete college and pursue her love of dance. However, in order for both of them to fulfill their dreams, they must live on opposite sides of the country. As you can imagine, this does not bode well for their relationship.

Like with the first two books, there is some angst, some jealousy and distrust, and a whole lot of hot and heavy make up sessions. There are also a few unexpected surprises.

Overall, I fully enjoyed this series and was very happy with the way Nicole wrapped it all up. Definitely recommend this as a series to read.

Her life only gets more complicated when she meets Alex. Sexy, arrogant, and secretive, Alex can get under Gemma’s skin like no one can. Yet she’s drawn to him by an invisible connection she has no control over. She’s also seen him before. In her nightmares. 

Every part of Gemma’s mind is screaming at her to stay away from Alex, but every other part of her is begging to get close to him. But the closer she gets, the more she realizes Alex knows more about her than he originally let on.

As secrets about her past unravel, Gemma’s life becomes threatened. She needs to figure out what’s going on, before she winds up dead. But the only person she can turn to for answers is the one person she isn’t sure she can trust.

Why haven't I read this one yet? Yeah.... not really sure.

Book Boyfriend of the Week #17 ~ Daniel from Finding Cinderella by Colleen Hoover

He's cute, a little crazy, sometimes cocky and completely in  love with Six.

She’s smiling wider than I’ve ever seen her smile.

She shakes her head and laughs at me. “That wasn’t even a real kiss,” she says. “You didn’t even try to put your tongue in my mouth.”

“I didn’t have to put my tongue in your mouth,” I say. “My kisses are that intense. I don’t even really have to do anything. The only reason I pulled back was that I was sure we were about to experience a classic, ‘When Harry met Sally’ moment.” 

This novella is a companion novel to the Hopeless series, but can be read as a standalone. 

A chance encounter in the dark leads eighteen-year-old Daniel and the girl who stumbles across him to profess their love for each other. But this love comes with conditions: they agree it will only last one hour and it will only be make-believe.

When their hour is up and the girl rushes off like Cinderella, Daniel tries to convince himself that what happened between them only seemed perfect because they were pretending it was perfect. Moments like that with girls like her don’t happen outside of fairytales.

One year and one bad relationship later, his disbelief in insta-love is stripped away the day he meets Six: a girl with a strange name and an even stranger personality. Daniel soon realizes the way he pretended to feel about Cinderella and the way he really feels about Six may not be so different after all. Especially when the two loves of his life end up being one in the same.

Unfortunately for Daniel, finding Cinderella doesn't guarantee their happily ever after…it only further threatens it.

I'd be happy to back you up against a wall, right here, right now, and kiss you breathless. For a start."


Third - My Thoughts:

Here Without You is the final installment of the Between the Lines series by Tammara Webber. Once again, the story is told from several POV - (Reid - who has been a main character in all 4 books. Dori - Reid's love interest whom we met in book 3. Brooke - another character who has remained consistent throughout the series. And River - whose identity I will keep hidden. Don't want to spoil it for those of you who haven't read it yet.)

Reid has matured a lot since book one. Although he is still a hot celebrity sought after by his fans, he is no longer the playboy. Dori has changed him in the best way possible, and I really liked who he became.

Brooke has also changed. I wasn't particularly fond of her in the first two books, but now, I quite like her. She is no longer selfish and superficial. Instead, we see a caring and sensitive side to her - a vulnerability which we hadn't seen before.

Overall, I really enjoyed this series. Tammara has written a terrific story. One with many swoon worthy moments, lots of emotional ups and downs, and quite a few fun filled moments. 

If you haven't read Between the Lines - (Book 1-4) - WHY NOT?????
